Have you thought about rain?
A Contemplative Poem on Existence and God’s Transformative Nature in Our Unified Being.
Have you thought about rain?
Have you thought about rain? The waters of the earth distributed in masses large, or scattered sparse and small. Through her daily presence, The sun offers warmth and light. Life that populates us, transformed We rise and join together different there than here. Bound together, Sparse. Being. Whole. I return. From ocean or puddle. From pond or cactus in desert sun. Wisdom carried in our being. From there, and now, here. I return. Elsewhere. The same. Now different. Unchanged. Wise and unlearned. From water’s flow to vapor’s wisp, to liquid once again; of all I always am. We return I am no longer there, Now, we are here Containing there. Ocean. Vapor. Puddle. Vapor. Ice cap. Vapor. Cactus at it's core. Vapor. I was, then I was, and still, I am. We are. Changed, and the same. Transformed, and returned. Always the same, sometimes new. I am the same, becoming multitudes.
